From an early age, I discovered I had a natural flair for braiding. I started practicing on my sister, carefully styling her hair into various intricate braids while we were growing up. What started as a fun pastime eventually grew into a full-blown passion for hairstyling, driven by a desire to bring beauty and confidence to others through creative and personalized hair designs.
About seven years ago, I decided to take a bold step forward and turn my passion into a business. I opened an Etsy store (which has now transitioned into this independent online store www.zumawigs.com) to showcase my custom braid wigs, which were a reflection of my unique artistic vision and dedication to quality. These wigs were not only fashion statements but also gave people the opportunity to experiment with different braided looks without having to commit to long-term styling. As my store grew in popularity, it quickly became a hub for people seeking innovative and stylish braid wigs that catered to their individual tastes.
As I gained more exposure and began to connect with a broader community of customers, I started receiving inquiries for specialized hairpieces, particularly dreadlock wigs and custom loc toppers.
